Curled Up 8 x 10 acrylic on gessoboard SOLD |
This sweet little fawn is all curled up and tucked in for a nap. When they gather up those long legs, they're just so very small. See below for photos of the painting in progress.

ReplyDeleteWhat extraordinary eyes, and I fell in love with the nice moist nose!
Great job, Helene.
Oh, thank you, Julie. I think he's so sweet, too.
DeleteI thought your nest lovely, and hope your birthday was as well.
Such a sweet painting! Love how you showed the progression of this work!
ReplyDeleteYou are always so supportive, Kaethe! Thank you; it means a lot.
DeleteThank you for sharing the progression. It's always nice to see how an artist develops her paintings. And I love your brush strokes on fur - this fawn looks so cute in the painting.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jiyoung. I'm pleased you enjoyed seeing the process. I often intend to take photos, then get painting and forget - d'uh. I'm enjoying your wonderful glass bottle arrangements. You make them look easy, but I know what skill they take!
DeleteGreat to see all the different stages. The end result is just beautiful !
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Helen. For once I remembered to take photos. I always enjoy seeing the process on other artists' blogs, as well as their demo videos -- yours are super!
