Another one I had commented on previously but obviously didn't register. Don't want to miss an opportunity to congratulate you, Helene, on your concept and technique. I think both this and your next one (showing rear views) enables me to enjoy the full effect of the figure, landscape and light.
Oh, thank you, Julie! Not sure how your earlier comment went astray, but so pleased you tried again. I'm also pleased you like the rear-view concept. These are gallery paintings and the subject anonymity has wider appeal among their clients. (As someone who enjoys painting portraits, however, I admit to missing rendering faces!)
