Rich tones and luscious textures -- that's why still life paintings are such a joy.

Helene Adamson: Gravenhurst, Ontario, Canada; I'm Helene Adamson, and I paint in both acrylics and oils. Although I am perhaps best known for my portraits and still lifes, I also love to paint dogs, horses, and wildlife subjects. Art has always been part of my life, but It was when my husband and I moved from big city Toronto to small town Gravenhurst, that I really began painting in earnest. Over the past decade I have been gratified to have my paintings in both group shows and solo gallery exhibitions. I have also sold my work through the wonderful international online gallery, Daily Paintworks. I'm delighted that my paintings have found homes not only in Canada, but also throughout the United States, and in the U.K.
